Budget step of the compensation round - Target budget section
We enhanced the capabilities of the user with Compensation admin professional role. When configuring the compensation round in the Budget step, a new section called Target budget is available to this user. This new section is illustrated below:
'Target budget' section
This section reflects the cards for each compensation element assigned in the compensation round. It is possible to enter a numeric value for each card/element, as presented below:
'Target budget' pop-up
Target budget card with numeric value
This will help the compensation admin track the configuration done in the budget step by entering the top possible value of the budget foreseen for the given compensation round. The possibility to check it will be available at the Validation step of the compensation round.
The section is collapsible and expandable. By default it displays eight cards maximum (if 8 elements are assigned in the compensation round). In case there are more than 8 cards, it is possible to see the rest after clicking the Load more button.
Decimal precision setting
With the 1.6 release, users with the compensation admin professional role are also able to set the necessary decimal precision for all the fields of type 'decimal' while configuring the Team planner view step of the compensation round. The Configure column pop-up is presented on the illustration below:
The 'Configure column' pop-up
This will help to curate the view of the digits after the decimal separator on the Planner view for the users with manager access or users with HRBP professional role.
By default, all the decimal fields are set to 2 and the selections rages from 0 to 8.
Validation step of the compensation round
From 1.6 release, users with the compensation admin professional role are able to access a new step called Validation during the configuration process of the compensation round, as illustrated in the following figure:
'Validation' step
This step provides the possibility for the compensation admin to generate, in Excel form, a report which contains all the fields and columns enabled for the Planner view and list of workers eligible in the given compensation round. This report will help see the distribution of the amounts across workers and make sure that everything is set correctly. The validation report can be generated only by the owner or co-owner of the compensation round.
There are actions possible for the generated report, namely download, rename, and delete, as illustrated in the following figure:
Report actions
When downloading the report, the user must define a password for the file, which will have to be used later when opening the excel file. This functionality is important because of the confidential data inside the file (such as list of workers and their compensation). The following figure illustrates the Download report:
Download report pop-up
The possibility to generate a validation report exists for published and in progress compensation rounds in both view and edit modes.
Hierarchy step of the compensation round
Before 1.6 release, the Hierarchy step of the compensation round contained a preselected hierarchy: the Standard hierarchy. From now on, users with the compensation admin professional role are able to select which hierarchy should be applied for the compensation round.
Four standard hierarchies are available for the compensation admin to select: Line Manager, Matrix Manager, Communication Manager, and Compensation Manager, as illustrated in the following figure:

This step is now mandatory when configuring the compensation round.
Compensation round deletion
With the 1.6 release, we introduced the possibility for users with the compensation admin professional role to delete compensation rounds, as illustrated in the following figure:

These additional reviewers can be added only by the principal manager of the worker who is connected to the review. When the additional manager submits their input, the principal manager can no longer remove them from the Additional manager list as the input was already provided and it could break the links between the reviewers and review.
