Managing behavior libraries
The behavior libraries management interface is available under Workbench > Performance Management > Behaviors.
There are three statuses for libraries: Draft or Published and Disabled; only libraries in Draft status may be edited.
Editing a behavior library
The system enables you to make changes to the libraries that are in draft statu.
To edit a behavior library, proceed as follows:
Locate in the list of behavior libraries, the library that you want to edit, under In Workbench > Performance Management > Goal Tag Libraries.
Click the icon located in the far right of the row corresponding to the library in the list. A contextual menu is displayed.
Click Edit in the menu. The library is opened at step 1 of the form.
Change the basic parameters of the library, such as its name, description and owners.
Click Next. You are directed to step 2 of the form.
-
Edit the behaviors of the library:
Name, description, and color of a behavior.
If required, add new behaviors to the library using the Add behavior button.
You may also add translations of the behavior names and descriptions.
If you want to remove a behavior from the library, click the red Delete button in the upper-right corner of the behavior block.
If you want to disable a behavior (i.e. make it unavailable for end users) without deleting it, change the state of the Enable behavior toggle to disabled (gray).
Click Next to move to step 3 of the form.
-
Change the assignment parameters of the behavior library:
Add new organizational units using the search bar
Remove organizational units by clicking the x icon in the tag corresponding to the org unit to be deleted in the list of currently added units
Click Save in the upper-right corner of the application window. Your changes are now saved.
Disabling a behavior library
If you are the owner of a library that is no longer needed, you can "retire" it instead of deleting. Disabling a library is different from deleting it. When a library is disabled, workers will no longer be able to tag the behavior in feedback and goals, but they will still see the library behaviors that were received or given.
To disable a behavior library, proceed as follows:
Locate in the list of behavior libraries, the library that you want to disable.
Click the icon located in the far right of the row corresponding to the library in the list. A contextual menu is displayed.
Click Disable library in the contextual menu. A confirmation message is displayed.
Click Yes. The library is disabled and its status is changed in the list of libraries.
Deleting a behavior library
If you are the owner of a library, you can then delete it. However, you can only delete behavior libraries that are in Draft status. To be able to delete a library, you must first disable it using the procedure described in Disabling a behavior library.
To delete a behavior library, proceed as follows:
Locate in the list of behavior libraries, the library that you want to delete.
Click the icon located in the far right of the row corresponding to the library in the list. A contextual menu is displayed.
Click Delete library. A confirmation message is displayed.
Click Yes. The library is deleted from the system.
