Viewing comp rounds
To access the compensation round page, navigate to Planner > Compensation and choose the comp round you wish to review. Click its name in the list. You can also click the icon on the far-right side of the row corresponding to the comp round and select View. You are now redirected to an in-depth view of the comp round you have selected.
At the top of the page, you can select one of three tabs:
- Comp review tab, where you can scroll to the right to view all the information about workers' eligibility and compensation.
Individual view tab, where you can select a worker to see the details of their salary and bonus.
Audit trail tab, where you can scroll down to check the latest updates and changes made in the workers' compensation table.
Comp review tab
At the top of the Comp review tab, a set of summary cards displays the budget consumption for each compensation element included in the comp round. For each element, you can see the amount spent against the total available budget. Clicking the info icon on a card expands a detailed breakdown, showing the total budget, allocated amount, number of eligible workers, and remaining balance. You may hide this information by changing the state of the Show budget toggle in the navigation bar.
This tab also allows you to do the following:
Select Direct Reports, Indirect reports, or HRBP from the drop-down list. The list of workers that belong to the selected group will appear in the list below.
Click the Filters button to add conditions. In a drawer that will slide from the right, select a Manager from the drop-down list. Use the toggle to choose between ALL or ANY and click + Add condition. Select a Criterion and Operator from the drop-down lists and enter a Value. To add even more conditions, click + Add condition. Click Apply to filter the data. To discard your filters, click Clear filters. Click Cancel to exit the Select filters drawer.
Adjust the rows by clicking the Row size button.
Reload the data by clicking the Refresh data button.
Choose the Worker local currency or Comp round currency from the drop-down list.
Search your selected worker by name using the search bar.
-
Export the Comp review table to Excel by clicking the icon and selecting Export to Excel. A dialog will appear, prompting you to choose current or all pages for export and set a password for your file.
In the table below the navigation bar, you will always see the first seven columns: Worker, Action, Workflow Step, Workflow Status, Manager, Notes, and Eligibility. Other columns are those configured by the Compensation Admin when creating the compensation round, for instance compensation elements.
-
Scroll to the right to see the compensation section of the table. This section is divided into column groups, each representing a compensation element configured during the compensation round setup, such as Proposals. Each group contains related columns, for example Base Pay, Base Pay Override, and Fixed Allowances.
Where a worker is eligible, the columns within the relevant group become editable. Entering a value in one column will automatically calculate and populate the related columns within the same group. If you click an editable field, a pop-up window will be displayed with guidelines for the minimum and maximum amount available in this field. If the entered value falls outside the allowed range, the pop-up will additionally indicate that the value is out of range.
You will also notice that some columns contain icons next to their names. Depending on the compensation round setup, the icons may relate to Conditional formatting, a Calculated column formula, or Proposal management. Clicking these icons opens drawers on the right side of the screen, displaying the outcome of the comp round configuration in read mode, for example rules or formulas applied.
Click the worker's name to see details of their Comp history, Salary, Bonus, and Notes in a drawer that will slide from the right. From there, you can also access the Individual view tab by clicking the Go to individual view button at the bottom of the drawer.
