Creating a goal tag library
Within the Pay Suite application, you can create goal tag libraries containing any number of tags that users will then be able to apply when creating goals for themselves or for other workers.
These tags offer a quick and easy way for the workers in your organization to categorize goals within a single goal plan.
Step 1 - Tag library details
To create a goal tag library, proceed as follows:
Click Create tag library button on the top right corner of the section. The Create tag library form is opened in the first step: Tag library details.
Enter a name for your new goal tag library in the Name field. Be sure to give the library a descriptive name that will enable you to easily identify it in the list of goal tag libraries available in the system.
Enter a description in the Library description field. You can use this field to give additional information about the library, such as its purpose and intended use.
Select additional owners in the Library owners section by entering their name in the search field and then selecting the person in the search results. Keep in mind that if you don't add additional owners, only you will be able to manage the goal tag library (edit and publish).
If your company uses several languages and you want to translate the goal tag library, select the new language in the Translations drop-down list, and then enter the proper information in the Library name and Library description fields. Repeat this operation for all the languages that you want to support in your goal tag library.
Click Next in the progress widget to move to step 2 of the goal tag library creation process: Tags.
Step 2 - Tags
Once you have entered the basic information of the goal tag library, you can then move on to the creation of the additional tags.
To add tags to your new goal tag library, proceed as follows:
Enter a name for your first tag in the Tag name field. Be sure to use a very descriptive name, because this is what end-users will see as the tag label when creating their goals. If possible, beqom recommends that you limit the name of the tag to 2-3 words.
In the Tag description field, enter a description for the tag. Use this field to give additional information about the tag, such as the context in which it should be used.
Pick the color you want to use for the tag among the available colors.
Change the state of the Enable tag toggle to enabled to activate the tag and make sure that users will be able to use it once the library is published.
Click Add tag and repeat steps 1-4 of this procedure to add more tags.
If your company uses several languages in the system, change the language in the Translations drop-down list, and then repeat steps 1-2 of this procedure to enter values for the other language. Repeat this operation for all the languages that you want to support in your goal tag library.
Click Next in the progress widget to move to step 3 of the goal tag library creation process: Assignment.
Step 3 - Assignment
After you have added tags to your library, you are ready to assign the library to workers in your company.
To assign your goal library to one or several organizational units in your company, proceed as follows:
In the Organization field, start typing the name of the organizational unit that you want to add and then click the unit in the list of results.
Repeat stepĀ 1 for all the organizational units to which you want to assign the goal type library. Search for All company to assign the goal tag library to your entire organization at once.
Click Publish in the progress widget to finalize the goal tag library creation process and publish the item. The library is now published in the system and workers who belong to the specified organizational units can now use it in their goals.
