Working with proxy permissions
A proxy permission allows a worker to access the account of another individual worker or entire organizations in the company on their behalf, for a specific purpose. Only users with admin and compliance roles are able to grant this permission to other workers.
Configuring proxy settings
To start working with proxy access, you must first enable this feature. To allow proxy permissions, proceed as follows:
Navigate to Workbench > Data Management > Proxy > Proxy Permissions Settings
Change the state of the Allow workers to proxy other workers toggle to active (colored).
Click Save button located in the top right corner of the page.
You can now access the Proxy Permission Manager and set up your proxy permissions.
Viewing Proxy Permission Manager
Too see the proxy permissions of the worker, proceed as follows:
Select the worker from the list by scrolling down or using a search bar at the top of the page.
Click on the name of the worker or alternatively click on the icon on the far right side of the table and select View. A pop-up window will appear.
In the View proxy permission window you can see the name of your selected worker and Who do they need to proxy section.
Editing proxy
If your role permits it, you may edit proxy permissions. To do that, proceed as follows:
Locate in the list of workers, the worker that you want to edit.
Click on the name of the worker or alternatively click the icon located in the far right of the row corresponding to the worker in the list and select Edit. A pop-up window is displayed.
Using the search bar find workers or organizations that you want to include. If you want to change your selection click X sign to remove organization or worker.
Using the second search bar find workers or organizations that you want to exclude. If you want to change your selection click X sign to remove organization or worker from this section.
Click Save at the bottom of the window. Your changes are now applied.
Deleting proxy
If your role permits it, you may delete proxy permissions. To do that, proceed as follows:
Locate in the list of workers, the worker that you want to delete.
Click the icon located in the far right of the row corresponding to the worker in the list and select Delete. A confirmation message is displayed.
Click Confirm. The proxy permissions of the selected worker are deleted from the system.
Viewing Proxy access list
To view the proxy access list, proceed as follows:
Click on the name of your selected worker and then click View proxy access list at the bottom of the pop-up window. Alternatively click on the icon in the proxy table and select Proxy access list.
You are now redirected to a new window with Proxy access list.
At the top you can see the name of the worker you selected and the number of the individuals included on the list below.
To search for a worker on the list, scroll down or use the search bar at the top of the page. Remember that only 10 records are visible on the list. To see more use the arrows at the bottom of the list to navigate to the next page.
