Creating exchange rate types
This feature enables users to create and manage exchange rate types that can be later used together with exchange rates.
This is a tip message.
Exchange rate types are available under Workbench > Data Management > Exchange Rate Types. Access to Workbench depends on your role within the platform. Users with Compensation Admin, Global Compensation Admin and Data Foudation Admin professional roles are able to configure this feature
To create a exchange rate type, proceed as follows:
Click Create type in the upper-right corner of the Exchange Rate Types page. The exchange rate type creation form is opened on the right side of the screen.
Fill in the basic details of the exchange rate type:
Enter a name of the new exchange rate type in the Name field.
Enter a unique code in the Code field.
Enter a description for the exchange rate type in the Description field.
Click Create at the bottom of the form to finish the creation process.
