Working with skills and competency groups
In Pay Suite you may combine competency scale that you previously created with your skills. By organizing skills into groups and associating them with specific competency scales you may streamline talent management.
Creating skills & competency group
To create a skills & competency group, proceed as follows:
Click Create skills & competency group in the upper-right corner of the Skills & competency group page. The pop-up window with creation form is opened.
Fill in the details of the group:
Enter a name of the new group in the Name field.
Enter a unique code in the Code field.
From the drop down list select the Competency scale you would like to use for this group.
From the first column in the Select skills to add to the group section select a category and then select a skill within this category. You may also use Select all and Unselect all buttons if you wish to choose all the skills and categories or discard your previous selection.
Click Save at the bottom of the form to finish the creation process.
Editing skills & competency groups
To edit a skills & competency group select the group you would like to edit and click the name of the group or the icon at the far right side of the row. The creation form is open again and ready to be edited.
