"Team planner view" step improvements
Version 16.1 of the beqom sees the introduction of a number of improvements to the Team planner view step of the compensation round configuration wizard, as detailed in the following sections.
Possibility to view & edit disabled columns
When editing the compensation round or configuring the comp round it is possible now to view and edit the columns which are not enabled for the Planner. This gives an opportunity to check or update the configuration of the columns which are not enabled to be viewed by the Compensation managers and HRBPs.

Possibility to delete custom columns & calculated columns
In order to offer a better user experience to users working in compensation round configuration, it is now possible to delete custom columns and calculated columns from the compensation round. If a column to be deleted is used in conditional formatting or in a calculated column, the platform offers the possibility to check dependencies, as well as download a log file where dependency details are reflected.

In progress compensation round deletion
The latest version of beqom introduces an exciting new capability for compensation management: the possibility to delete compensation rounds in In progress status. Available only to Global compensation admins (not to Compensation admins), this feature offers advanced flexibility when it comes to the management of rounds.
Once a compensation round is deleted, it no longer appears in the list of comp rounds in Workbench > Compensation > Compensation Rounds; however, this is a "soft delete" process, meaning that the record of the round is retained in the database.
For added security, the user performing this action is required to enter the code of the comp round in the round deletion confirmation pop-up.

The action menu for bonus plans now contains a Usage details option which gives Compensation admins and Global compensation admin the possibility to review the list of the compensation rounds in which a given bonus plan is used. Upon clicking this option, a drawer containing all the relevant information is opened on the right-hand side of the application screen.
Bonus plan actions
The range of actions that Compensation admins and Global Compensation Admin can perform on bonus plans was extended:

Platform
Population criteria update
In this version, the logical operator used between criteria blocks in the Population Builder, within the Data Management section of the Workbench, was updated.
Previously, criteria blocks were joined using the AND logic (i.e. a restrictive logic where all criteria must be true); they are now joined using the OR logic (i.e. an inclusive logic where at least one of the criteria must be true), aligning with how criteria blocks function in other areas of the product (such as the compensation round eligibility criteria).
This change makes the behavior consistent across the platform and easier to understand when defining complex populations.
Effective dates in the Data Viewer
The Data Viewer, under Workbench > Data Management > Data Foundation, now displays EffectiveDate columns for all effective-dated entities.
This enhancement allows users to:
View effective dating directly in the Data Viewer.
Track data validity across different timeframes more efficiently.
Improve confidence in reviewing and validating effective-dated records.
Data Modeler - Remove "Preview grid"
The Preview grid action was removed from the Data Modeler. Instead, users can now leverage the new Snapshot Manager, available in the Data Management section of the Workbench.
Using the Snapshot Manager, it is possible to create a snapshot based on a data model and then export it for detailed review.
This change provides a more consistent and powerful way to validate and analyze data models before they are used in compensation rounds or other processes.
