beqomPay Suite 19.0 - Feature release notes
This article details the latest improvements introduced in version 19.0 of the beqomPay Suite application, their benefits for our end-users and their principles of use.
Compensation Management
Compensation round management portal
With versionĀ 19.0 of the Pay Suite platform, we are introducing a new centralized portal view for the management of compensation rounds. This brand new interface comes with a new entry point for in progress and closed comp rounds, whereby the View action in the comp round list is replaced with the Round management action. Clicking the name of a round in the list now opens a consolidated management screen that offers access to all round-related functions from a single place: overview, statements and payroll, while offering a robust framework for future comp-related modules.
This new portal offers admins and HRBPs enhanced visibility and a more intuitive compensation round lifecycle management through a more user-friendly interface.
Comp round overview in the management portal
From a functional perspective, the Overview tab compensation round management portal displays tiles mirroring the steps of the comp round configuration wizard, with each tile opening a right-hand drawer containing details regarding the step.
Located on the right of the tiles, the Last updates section offers useful information about publishing/republishing activities, notifications regarding data model changes, as well as notifications regarding bonus plan updates. This convenient information panel makes for easy auditing of configuration changes while offering an immediate understand of the state and setup of the configuration round.
Bonus plan change alerts & pending draft workflow
When a bonus plan is edited and republished, a visual alert is now displayed in the row corresponding to affected compensation rounds in the comp round list. In addition, the creation of a pending draft is now required is now required to reflect bonus plan changes and other changes to the comp round configuration. When a change is performed to the bonus plan linked to a published or in-progress comp round, the button Edit of the action menu becomes Create pending draft. Upon clicking this button, the user will need to go through and review all the steps of the comp round configuration wizard before being able to republish the round. It is however possible to go directly to a specific section of the wizard directly from the comp round management portal.
This feature offers improves the comp round lifecycle management process by eliminating silent configuration drift, ensuring visibility of plan changes and protecting the integrity of the calculations mid-cycle.
Pending draft creation entry points
Mandatory column display name for the Planner view
Column display labels (i.e. the column names that will be displayed in the Planner), are now required and autopopulated by the system, preventing missing or unclear display labels, and reducing end-user confusion.
Grid preview in the Team planner view step
For greater control of the layout Planner grid and faster configuration validation before publishing a round, the Team planner view step of the compensation round configuration wizard, admins and HRBPs, can now preview the column names, the grouping, the formatting and the colors of the Planner when the round is in draft state. This new preview is available through a Preview grid button located at the top of the column selection panel in the Team planner view step.

Payout curve information in compensation statements
To fully align with goal-based bonus rules and offer workers more transparency over their compensation, compensation statements can now include information related to the payout curve, including goal names, curve type, performance level, payment resulting from the curve and thresholds
Performance Management
Display of organizational goals in reviews
This enhancement improves alignment between goal assignment and performance tracking by ensuring that organizational goals are accurately reflected in worker performance reviews.
Organizational Goals appear in a worker's performance review only if the worker is part of the designated goal population at the relevant time. Goal owners will not see these goals in their own reviews unless they are also included in the population.
In the review, goals are displayed in chronological order by due date, with the earliest due dates appearing first. This applies to both Organizational and individual goals within the review.
During the active review period, prior to manager submission, the review dynamically displays organizational Goals currently assigned to the worker. If a worker is removed from a goal population during this phase, the associated goal will no longer appear in their review.
Once the manager submits the review, the set of organizational goals is preserved as part of the performance record. Goals visible at the time of submission will remain in the review regardless of subsequent changes to goal population assignments.
Data Foundation
Notifications for failed data upload requests
Data foundation admins can now configure automated notifications for failed data upload requests directly from the Data Upload section of the Workbench.
When an upload request fails, configured recipients will receive an email and an in-app notification containing a deep link to the Data Upload view for quick investigation. This ensures ingestion failures are surfaced proactively without the need for manual monitoring.
Previously, admins had to repeatedly check the Workbench UI to monitor ingestion request statuses, which was inefficient, time-consuming, and error-prone. Failures could be missed, delaying issue resolution. Automated notifications improve visibility, reduce time to resolution, and increase confidence in upload reliability.

Custom fields as subject attributes in ABAC
Starting with version 19.0, it is now possible to use custom fields as subject attributes in Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) configurations. This enables more granular and flexible access control rules that align with unique organizational requirements, provides greater flexibility for complex data models and enables more precise access control aligned with tenant-specific needs.
Previously, ABAC subject attributes were limited to standard Data Foundation fields. This update extends ABAC to support custom fields defined in individual customer environements..
To use a custom field in ABAC, the field must first be created in the Data Management section of the Workbench, then a support ticket must be submitted to request schema enablement. Once enabled, the custom field can be used in ABAC policies through the API or CSV configuration in the Roles & Permissions workflow.
