beqomPay Suite - Pay Intelligence feature release notes
beqomPay Suite 21.0
New Achievement Summary report page
With version 21.0, we are introducing an addition to the Analytics Hub. Following the recently released Performance Management functionality for calculating total goal achievement scores, users can now explore the data behind it in the Analytics Hub Review report, where we have included a new page called Achievement Summary, under the Performance Review report.
The total score determined as part of the achievement summary calculation will now appear in both Review Details and Review Details & Additional Questions report pages. In each of the pages, we have added a new Achievement Total Score column to the Reviews detailed export table after the Final Rating field.
Users can access the Achievement Summary feature by navigating to the Analytics Hub and Performance Reviews. From there, they can head to the Achievement Summary report page, where a dashboard will be displayed after loading.
Achievement Summary dashboard
The dashboard offers key KPI visuals with the total number of reviews and the associated Average Total Score. A set of quick filters is available to easily narrow down results by Review name, Worker name, and Evaluation Section name.
In addition, the Achievement Summary provides a high-level overview of Average Total Score results, including a bar chart structured by organizational units, an organizational-level table hierarchy breakdown, and a detailed employee list featuring Total Score and Max Score. Users can then dive deeper into individual evaluation sections, with a bar chart highlighting sections scoring zero for monitoring completion or anomalies, an organizational-level table with the average score breakdown for every section, and a detailed employee list with scores per evaluation section.
We have also added two filters specific to this page: Evaluation Section and Total Score. They can be found in the right filter panel.

New Pay Communication report in the Analytics Hub
This release brings a new Pay Communication report, available on-request in the Analytics Hub. The report contains five pages: Communication Executive Overview, Communication Status, Communication Over Time, Communication Details, and Communication Audit Trail. It provides organizations with a clear overview of their pay communication lifecycle, from document creation and release tracking to workflow steps and employee read status, all presented through intuitive charts and tables.
As the report requires specific configuration considerations such as role-based access, it does not become visible automatically. Users should contact the beqom support team to have it activated.

Pay Analysis integration
With version 19.1 of Pay Suite, it is now possible to create datasets in PayAnalytics using the snapshot functionality. In addition, users can synchronize analysis information from PayAnalytics to the PayTransparency suite. This integration streamlines pay equity analysis workflows, enabling organizations to maintain a more consistent and up-to-date view of their compensation data across platforms.
All capabilities described below require the Pay Analytics Admin role. Please note that this feature is currently behind a feature flag – to activate it, a ticket should be raised with the beqom support team.
To create a dataset from the Snapshot Manager, users first need to locate Pay Analysis Data Mapping in Workbench > Data Management. There, they can define the mapping that establishes how the dataset creation in PayAnalytics should be parametrized, ensuring all mandatory fields are accounted for. Once configured, users can select a snapshot and trigger the dataset creation from the action menu on the Snapshot Manager page.

Create pay analysis dataset option
To import an analysis from PayAnalytics, users must first define the label from PayAnalytics that will be used to trigger the synchronization of pay analyses to the Pay Intelligence tab in the Workbench. Only analyses tagged with this exact label will be synced. Importantly, labels used to tag a parent analysis in PayAnalytics are not inherited by sub-group analyses, so users should tag sub-group analyses as well if they want them synced to the Workbench. With the analyses tagged in PayAnalytics, a Pay Analytics Admin can sync them by navigating to the Pay Intelligence tab in the Workbench, then selecting Pay analysis results in the left navigation bar, and clicking the Sync analysis button.

beqomPay Suite 14.0
The latest Pay Intelligence release streamlines currency management within the application, offering a centralized hub for defining and controlling available currencies. This enhancement allows users with the Compensation admin or Global compensation admin role to configure a Global currency for standardized reporting and manage active currencies for various features with ease.
Currency settings
The Currency Settings page, available under Workbench > Data Management, acts as the central hub for managing which currencies are available throughout the application. Here, you can define which currencies are active for transactions and various features. It also makes it possible to specify a single Global Currency, which will serve as the primary reference for standardized reporting and system-wide calculations in the future.
Global currency definition
A single Global currency must be selected to serve as the default currency for the entire system. Only one currency can be selected for this purpose.
The global currency is chosen from the Global currency drop-down list, as illustrated in the following figure:
Selecting global currency
Active currency management
Active Currencies are the currencies made available for use across the application's various features; multiple currencies can be activated.
Currencies are activated using the "Active currencies" multi-select drop-down list, as illustrated in the following figure:

Currency preview
The Currency Preview section provides a detailed, read-only reference list of all system-supported currencies. It's designed to help users make informed decisions when selecting active currencies. This area includes the following capabilities:
Search: enables users to locate a specific currency by entering its name into the "Search for a currency" field.
Country filter: filters the list to display currencies used in a specific country by selecting from the "Country" dropdown menu.
Preview table: lists each currency, its official three-letter code, and all countries where that currency is legal tender.
These capabilities are illustrated in the following figure:

Exchange rate type user interface
With release 13.0, we are releasing a brand new feature with a new user interface within the Workbench module in the Pay Suite platform: exchange rate types.
Accessible under Workbench > Data Management > Exchange Rate Types, this new user interface enables users with the Data foundation admin or the Global compensation admin role to create and manage exchange rate types that can be later used together with exchange rates.
When creating an exchange rate type, the user has the possibility to define a name, a code and a description for the exchange rate.
Once items are created, the list of exchange rate types that is displayed when opening the page in Workbench > Data Management > Exchange Rate Types contains various information regarding the existing exchange rate types, such as:
Name
Code
A flag indicating whether the item is in use or not
Creation date
Update date
Description
Three dots icon that gives access to a contextual menu where the user can edit or delete an item.
In addition to this information, the page also contains a summary card with the number of items, a search field that scopes item name and description, a filter on the exchange rate type usage status and a pagination tool.

PowerBI report performance improvements
Performance enhancements were implemented on the PowerBI integration to improve the loading time of the report pages and give users a better, faster experience when viewing reports from the Analytics Hub. After these enhancements, report pages are expected to load at least twice as fast as previously.

Refined exchange rate management
This section makes managing exchange rates within the platform much simpler and more accurate for all financial processes. Through intuitive upload, modification, and deletion functionalities, full control over exchange rate data is maintained.
The system offers strong tools for adding, changing, and removing exchange rate information, mainly through uploading CSV files. To add new rates or update existing ones, a specific CSV file format is used. For convenience, a template is available to help format data correctly.
When uploading, you'll need to include specific information for each exchange rate:
SourceCurrencyCode: (like USD or EUR) source currency
TargetCurrencyCode: target currency
ExchangeRateTypeCode: unique code indicating the purpose of the rate (like "SALARY" or "BUDGET")
These types can be set up in the system to fit different business needs for the same currency pair.
Similarly, the system provides strong tools to find, sort, and filter exchange rate data quickly. Exchange rates can easily be found by EffectiveDate (using MMDD format), SourceCurrencyCode, TargetCurrencyCode, and ExchangeRateTypeCode. It is also possible to filter rates by ExchangeRateTypeCode, SourceCurrencyCode, and TargetCurrencyCode. Finally, the exchange rate table can be sorted by UpdatedDate or EffectiveDate.
Enhanced worker details & historical compensation viewer
This release introduces the Worker details and Historical compensation drawer, simplifying how managers access crucial worker information. Managers can now get immediate insights into a worker's profile and compensation history from a single, convenient location, eliminating the need to navigate through multiple pages.
This dynamic drawer is accessible from the Planner'sCompensation section by simply clicking on the worker's name.
The drawer is thoughtfully organized into distinct sections for clear understanding:
The Worker details section provides general information such as worker ID, contract type, and company start date, along with their current work country, city, and contact details. It also includes role information, displaying specifics about their current position, such as job title, job level, and organizational context. Please note that if certain data isn't available, it won't be displayed, so the information might vary by worker.
The Historical compensation section features a visual chart illustrating the worker's salary history, showing annual salaries normalized to a full-time equivalent. Hovering over the bars displays a specific salary and date details. Please be aware that salaries are displayed in the worker's local currency, and the chart won't display if a worker has received salary in more than one currency within their last five changes. Below the chart, a detailed table, Overview of recent salary changes, provides precise figures for each salary adjustment, including the date, contracted salary, currency, and percentage change. This dual view allows for both quick trend analysis and a thorough review of compensation evolution.
Intuitive career development standard dashboards
The Analytics Hub now offers a powerful suite of standard Career development dashboards, designed to provide HR professionals and managers with comprehensive, aggregated data across all visible career plans. This enhancement empowers users to gain deeper insights into career progression, track development initiatives, and facilitate more informed talent management decisions.

Currency Service
The Currency Settings configuration section is now fully accessible to all users with the proper permissions. You can now effortlessly access and manage your currency settings directly within the system's familiar interface. This streamlined approach empowers you with direct control, making your workflow smoother and more efficient than ever before.
Currency Service Data Ingestion via API
Version 1.10 of the Pay Suite platform introduces a powerful new API for currency service data ingestion. This robust mechanism allows technical users to programmatically manage exchange rates, opening up a world of automation and integration possibilities. You can now seamlessly add, modify, and even remove exchange rates through our API, with implied support for incremental updates, meaning only changes are processed for optimal performance. Data can be uploaded using CSV files, with a handy template available for download, or through JSON payloads via dedicated API endpoints. This means you have the flexibility to integrate your existing systems with our platform in a way that best suits your needs.
Get Currency API Enhancements
We've made significant enhancements to the Get Currency API, giving you even more control over retrieving currency information. You can now filter results based on currency codes like 'USD' or 'EUR', or by currency names like 'US Dollar' or 'Euro'. And to make things even more flexible, we've implemented an OR condition for these filters. This means if a currency matches either the provided code or the provided name, it will be included in your results. This powerful filtering capability allows you to quickly and easily find the exact currency data you need.
Exchange Rate Snapshot (RPC Implementation)
A system-to-system integration feature for exchange rate snapshots has been implemented using Remote Procedure Calls (RPC). The system now generates exchange rate snapshots upon request. The resulting data is packaged and sent back to the requesting system or designated recipient via an RPC message. This integration allows for the sharing and utilization of exchange rate data across connected systems.

Analytics Hub enablement & configuration page
With release 1.8 of the Pay Suite, it is now easier than ever to activate or deactivate the Analytics Hub. This can be managed directly from two locations:
Workbench > Platform Setup: a toggle enables admin users to turn Analytics Hub on or off for a quick and simple setup.
Data Management > Analytics Hub Settings: this page offers granular control over the Analytics Hub, including activation/deactivation and advanced configuration options.
Analytics Hub for managers
Starting with 1.8, managers can now access reports in Analytics Hub.
In terms of configuration, manager access is set up in Analytics Hub Settings, where the configurator role can enable the setting Manager access. Once the configuration is enabled, managers automatically gain access to Analytics Hub.
By beqom definition, a manager is someone who has at least one direct report based on the "line manager" relationship defined in the data foundation Employment entity. In the Analytics Hub dashboards, managers will be able to see everyone in their reporting line (both direct and indirect reports), ensuring they have comprehensive access to everyone below them.
Report order & visibility
It is now possible to define the order in which reports are displayed, as well as the reports visible for HR Users and Managers separately.
In order to set a specific order and visibility, please raise a ticket to our support team with all the details or get in touch with your account manager. This can also be done using via API, provided that the perform who performs this operation has the Configurator role.
Report enhancements
In this release, the following enhancements were introduced on the embedded PowerBI reports:
Header Icons: the header icons in the visuals were harmonized so that every widget display interactive options at the top. These options should now show across every visual.
CPM Executive Summary: the behavior visual at the center of the dashboard was moved at the bottom next to the behavior distribution visual.
System Usage & roles: the roles table was showing all users with all their roles access and did not interact with filters. A relationship was applied so that this table only shows the population to which the user has access and that interacts with the applied filters.
Review distribution: the review distribution is now being ordered using the order field defined in the rating scale.
