Enabling and configuring the digital reward statement
The digital reward statement gives organizations flexibility in how they communicate compensation and provides workers with a clearer understanding of their pay.
Enabling the digital reward statement
To enable the digital reward statement, navigate to Workbench > Platform Setup > Passport > Compensation and check the Digital reward statement box.
Click Save in the top-right corner of the page to save your changes. The feature is now active and will be visible to workers as the Compensation tab in Passport.
Configuring the digital reward statement
To configure the digital reward statement feature, click the Edit button located on the far-right side of the page. The configuration form opens with two sections, Main content and Side panel, including subsections that we describe below. Using toggles, you can enable or disable each subsection to show or hide it as a widget in the digital reward statement page.

Compensation in numbers
This Main content subsection allows you to set a numerical overview of the worker's compensation. You can choose elements to display by checking or unchecking the boxes below:
Show total compensation
Show total direct compensation
Show total indirect compensation
Click the Save & exit button located in the top-right corner of the page to finish making your changes or proceed and save later.
Position in pay range
In this subsection, you can edit the position in pay range widget for the digital reward statement page. Fill in the following information:

Then, you may decide if you want to show compensation policy link by checking or unchecking the box.

Compensation philosophy
Use Compensation philosophy to communicate your company’s guiding principles on pay and rewards.
Add the necessary details:

Compensation breakdown
Here, you can change the Section header for the compensation breakdown that the worker will see in the digital reward statement. Type it in the provided field.

Compensation history
This subsection enables you to control whether workers can view their historical salary data. Configure the following options:
Section header – Customize the widget title shown to workers.
Number of years of compensation history to display – Set how many years of data are shown.
Compensation elements – Select which compensation types to include. This field defaults to Salary, but Bonus is also available. You must enable at least one element by checking a relevant box in the drop-down list.
Number of events – Define how many change events appear in the history table for your compensation elements. If you select both Salary and Bonus in Compensation elements above, you must specify the number of events in Salary configuration as well as Bonus configuration.
Click the Save & exit button located in the top-right corner of the page to finish making your changes or proceed and save later.
Pay information
In this Side panel subsection, you can enable the possibility for workers to request pay information. Check or uncheck the Allow pay information requests box.
Fill in the Text of the pay information widget for the digital reward statement page. The text that you input here will be displayed as context or guidance when workers use the widget.
Click the Save & exit button located in the top-right corner of the page to finish making your changes or proceed and save later.
Resources
If you want, you can also provide resources in the digital reward statement page. In the List of resources, add a Label and a Link.
To include more links, click the +Add resource button. To delete a previously added link, click the X icon next to the link you want to delete.
To save your changes, click the Save & exit button located in the top-right corner of the page. To discard them, click Cancel.
