Managing goal tag libraries
The goal plan management interface is available under Workbench > Performance Management > Goals > Goal Tag Libraries.
There are three statuses for goal plans: Draft or Published and Disabled; goal tag libraries in Published status cannot be edited. They can only be viewed in read-only.
Editing a goal tag library
The system enables you to make changes to the goal tag libraries that are in Draft status and to the libraries that have been published.
To edit a goal tag library, proceed as follows:
Locate in the list of goal tag libraries, the library that you want to edit.
Click the icon located in the far right of the row corresponding to the library in the list. A contextual menu is displayed.
Click Edit in the menu. The library is opened at step 1 of the form Tag library details.
Change the basic parameters of the library, such as its name, description, and owners.
Click Next. You are directed to step 2 of the form Tags.
-
Edit the tags of the library:
Name, description, and color of a tag
If required, add new tags to the library using the Add tag button
Translations of the tags names and descriptions
If you want to remove a tag from the library, click the red Delete button in the upper-right corner of the tag block
If you want to disable a tag (i.e. make it unavailable for workers) without deleting it, change the state of the Enable tag toggle to disabled (gray)
Click Next to move to step 3 of the form: Assignment.
-
Change the assignment parameters of the tag library:
Add new organizational units using the search bar
Remove organizational units by clicking the x icon in the tag corresponding to the organizational unit to be deleted in the list of currently added units
Click Save in the upper-right corner of the application window. Your changes to the goal tag library are now applied.
Disabling a goal tag library
You can "retire" any goal tag libraries that are no longer needed without deleting them. Disabling a library is different from deleting it. When a library is disabled, workers will no longer be able to use the library tags in goals, but they will still see the tags in existing goals.
To disable a goal tag library, proceed as follows:
Locate in the list of goal tag libraries, the library that you want to disable.
Click the icon located in the far right of the row corresponding to the library in the list. A contextual menu is displayed.
Click Disable library in the contextual menu. A confirmation message is displayed.
Click Yes. The library is disabled and its status is changed in the list of libraries.
Deleting a goal tag library
If you are the owner of a goal tag library, you can then delete it. However, you can only delete goal tag libraries that are in Draft status. To be able to delete a library, you must first disable it using the procedure described in Disabling a goal tag library.
To delete a goal tag library, proceed as follows:
Locate in the list of goal tag libraries, the library that you want to delete.
Click the icon located in the far right of the row corresponding to the library in the list. A contextual menu is displayed.
Click Delete library. A confirmation message is displayed.
Click Yes. The library is deleted from the system.
