Managing comp elements

Compensation tree and compensation elements are available under Workbench > Compensation Management > Compensation tree & Elements. Access to Workbench depends on your role within the platform. This feature is available for users with Configuration, Compensation Admin and Global Compensation Admin professional roles.

Editing a comp element

The system enables you to make changes to the comp elements.

To edit a comp element, proceed as follows:

1. Locate in the comp tree the element that you want to edit.

2. Click on the element and a widget will be displayed on the right side of the screen

3. You may now change the Name and Description of this element. The Element type, Parent element and Element code will remain the same.

4. Click Save to accept your changes. A success message will be displayed on the top of the screen.

Disabling a comp element

You can "retire" any element that is no longer needed without deleting them. Disabling an element is different from deleting it. When an element is disabled, workers will no longer be able to use the it in goals, but they will still see the tags in existing goals.

To disable an element, proceed as follows:

1. Locate in the comp tree the element that you want to disable.

2. Change the state of the toggle next to this element. The toggle displayed in gray will be disabled.

3. Your changes will be saved automatically.
